MASSACHUSETTS COVID-19 Update
Mask Advisory for Vaccinated and Unvaccinated Residents
Effective December 21, 2021: In response to the spread of the Delta variant and the emerging Omicron variant, the Department of Public Health now advises that all residents, regardless of vaccination status, wear a mask or face covering when indoors (and not in your own home). The DPH particularly urges this recommendation if you have a weakened immune system, or if you are at increased risk for severe disease because of your age or an underlying medical condition, or if someone in your household has a weakened immune system, is at increased risk for severe disease, or is unvaccinated.
Masks are still mandatory for all individuals on public and private transportation systems (including rideshares, livery, taxi, ferries, MBTA, Commuter Rail and transportation stations), in healthcare facilities and in other settings hosting vulnerable populations, such as congregate care settings.
On May 29, 2021, all remaining COVID-19 restrictions were lifted and all industries are permitted to open. All industries will be encouraged to follow CDC guidance for cleaning and hygiene protocols.
At the resort, all staff will continue to wear masks unless outdoors or physically distanced and guests over the age of 5 are urged to wear masks, if not fully vaccinated, in accordance to the updated CDC guidelines.
For Maintenance or Housekeeping staff to enter a room that is occupied by guests, the guests will be required to wear their masks for the protection of our staff members.
**Please note: Private businesses may choose to require masks to enter the premises. Face Masks are required in all indoor public settings in the City of Boston. Starting on January 15, 2022, individuals will be required to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19 in order to enter certain indoor spaces in Boston. People working in those locations will also be required to have received their vaccines.
