Dear Local Owner:
We would like to take this opportunity to update you on a few changes at the Resort.
First, the Racquet Sports Club will be renamed to the Recreation Center, which is a more inclusive description of all the various sports and activities which take place in the facility.
Secondly, The Cove at Yarmouth signed a partnership agreement with Ryan Family Amusements over a year ago. After a prolonged application and construction process due to COVID-19, our new arcade has been approved for operation. A new wheelchair lift was installed to comply with ADA Act of 2010 along with new paint colors and carpet.
In addition, we resurfaced the indoor tennis courts and included pickleball lines to accommodate the increased demand for this growing sport.
Thirdly, The Board of Trustees adopted a new Day Use policy in September of 2020 and due to Covid-19, management elected to delay implementation until now.
Item number four of the Day Use Policies and Procedures was amended to include the following:
A $15.00 non-refundable court fee will be required for all court time reservations.
The court fee will be collected at the time of court reservation.
This new Day Use Policy will go into effect on Monday, May 31, 2021 (for reservations on Tuesday, June 1, 2021).
Lastly, current vaccination rates along with improving health metrics, we will be rescinding the no guest policy for only the Recreation Center beginning Tuesday, June 1st. Masks are still required and must be worn at all times, or play will be terminated. Only owners are allowed for health club and pool use.
Day Use for the pools and Health Club will be prohibited from 6/30 > 8/30/21 due to continued distancing protocols and resort occupancy.
